On December 1, 155, Rosa Parks had had a dreadfully long day at her job. Her entire body moaned and throbbed longingly to sit down. Absentmindedly, she boarded a bus when after a few stops, the driver swiveled around in his chair and asked her to allow a white man to have her seat.
